Meanwhile, Drilon National Park, as a marvelous natural monument, is characterized by lush greenery, waters, tranquility, and rare beauty. It has a large artesian spring that originates with a vertical water flow at the base of the artesian block, continuing its course into Lake Ohrid. The water comes from Lake Prespa through the Dry Mountain. The water emerges as a large source with a flow rate of 7 m3/second. It is surrounded by dense vegetation and has a rich diversity of wildlife. This place has been a preferred destination for holidays by King Zog and Enver Hoxha.
